Every parts of Moringa plant is edible. many traditions and cultures have used this Miracle Tree for so many diseases and for prevention of ailments.
LEAVES: this is believed to have a stabilizing effect on blood pressure and controls blood glucose levels. They are also used in the case of anxiety, diarrhea,and inflammation of the colon, skin infections, scurvy, intestinal parasites, and many other conditions.
SEEDS: Used against fevers and tumors, while the seed oil is applied externally to relieve pain and swelling from gout and rheumatism. It is used internally for prostate and bladder ailments. The oil is considered an excellent tonic as it contains multitude of vitamins and beneficial substances.
Many of the above remedies have been supported by recent laboratory studies even though the interest in Moringa’s treasure is not well established as yet. Good news for all the poor children in school in my country. Parent should teach their children to eat more of the tree’s edible parts leaves, bark, roots and fruits. Too precious to ignore its nutritional value that could save millions of life.
