LABORATORY STUDIES THAT SUPPORTS SOME TRADITIONAL REMEDIES

Moringa leaf extract has been shown to be effective in lowering blood sugar levels within  a space of 3 hours, albeit less effectively than the standard hypoglycaemic drug, glibencamide. Effects increased with larger doses.

An extract taken from dried leaves showed an impressive ability to heal gastric ulcers in laboratory animals. Administration of daily doses by injection caused a very significant improvement in the healing rate of gastric ulcers.
